Small Beginnings...               Bright Future

Years ago Calvary Chapel began as a tent meeting near the center of town.  Songs were sung and sermons were preached week in and week out to anyone who would listen.  The church grew.  From building to building the church grew.  The area changed and so did its people. No one could know that the small community that was once a quiet little town nestled in Central Florida would soon be one of  the top vacation destinations of the world. 

Today, more than 90 years later, Calvary Assembly of God is continuing to grow.  The beginning of the new millenium saw the re-birth of a vision for this community.  To see people come to know Christ, not just as a painting on a wall or word spoken in vain but as a helper, healer, and friend. 

As Kissimmee has continued to grow, so has it's diversity.  Not only culturally, but also spiritually.  People of all faiths have gathered in this city searching for fulfillment in life, something better than in thier homeland.  We are here to provide something better, something real.

We reach out to all ages and all races, using every tool possible.  From children and teen ministries to music and service groups, our desire is to see every heart in Kissimmee know Christ.
